photo Teacher Corey

Corey has been teaching guitar, piano, and brass instruments to children of all ages since 2010. In his hometown of Columbus, Ohio he spent his days teaching both all across city and in a dedicated music studio, while he spent his nights nannying four young children that he adores. In 2008 he received his Bachelor's in Music Performance, and since then has performed as a musician for local bands, productions and orchestras - but he found that he had the most fun playing for children at daycares and preschools. His passion for music and for children has shaped him into a dedicated, empathetic teacher who can't wait to share his enthusiasm with children in San Francisco and online!

photo Teacher Brandon

Teacher Brandon has been involved in music in some shape or form for most of his life, from piano lessons as a kid to playing the French horn in his high school marching band and eventually singing in musical theater productions throughout and after college. He discovered that he had a knack and a love for teaching others to access their musical potential with private guitar and ukulele lessons. He has performed in a few theaters as an actor and at many open mics as a musician in San Francisco. He is super stoked for the opportunity to foster a love and understanding of music in both kids and adults.

Teacher Renee

Teacher Renee learned piano, guzheng (Chinese zither) and cello growing up in San Francisco. She went on to obtain her Bachelor of Music in Cello Performance at CSULB. Renee has been actively reconnecting with her SF community by teaching cello to young students. Growing up singing to kid’s shows like Wee Sing and Little Einsteins, Renee is super excited to give back musically and share fun and silly music-making time with families at SF Music Together!

photo Teacher Pey-Ning

Teacher Pey-Ning learned to play the piano and violin at a young age. Practicing her instruments, participating in performances, and competitions were part of her musical experiences growing up, but they were not always fun or sparked joy. She rediscovered the joy of music when she began teaching private piano lessons for an after-school music program. Her appreciation for music education deepened when she attended Music Together classes with her toddler. From there, she knew that teaching Music Together was meant to be part of her musical journey. She is excited to share her love of music, the joy it brings, and the sense of community that comes with being part of the Music Together family.

Teacher Claudia

Teacher Claudia is a lifelong singer, music lover, and performer. She has grown up being trained classically in voice and the theatre. While her passions arose singing with many voices in different choirs, she feels most fulfilled when sharing music with others. Sharing music has ranged from being a radio DJ host to performing in a band with her best friends for over 5 years! Most of all, Claudia is ecstatic to be teaching Music Together and meet you and your child in a new musical frontier.

  Adam and Corey co-teaching

Enjoy the gift of two teachers! Adam and Corey will trade teaching classes seperately, so you get to have the fun of two teachers in one. Teacher Adam has performed as a principal tenor in operas in North America, Hawaii, & Japan. He enjoyed a five-year Artist-In- Residency for Opera San Jose, performing 32 roles! He is a member of the SanFrancisco Opera Chorus. Adam teaches for the SF Opera's program for youth. More than anything, Adam loves teaching young children music and watching them grow.

Teacher Adam's class has been an incredible experience for our family! We were hesitant to join because my child can be a bit reserved. But Adam’s warmth and inclusive approach made all the difference. Now, my child is opening up, moving, and fully enjoying music with his whole body! This class has become the highlight of our weekends, and we’re so grateful for the joy it brings." - Masaki and Keiko, Google Review

Teacher Corey has taught guitar, piano, and brass instruments to children of all ages. In his hometown of Columbus, Ohio, he taught music and nannied four young children that he adored. He has a BA in Music Performance, and has performed for bands, productions, and orchestras – but he had the most fun playing for children at daycares and preschools. His passion for music and children has shaped him into a dedicated, empathetic teacher who loves sharing his enthusiasm with children.

"My son and I always start off the week happy after attending Teacher Corey’s class. Teacher Corey and the program has been an integral part of our musical journey and close bonding experience. We started  when my son was 1.5 yrs old, and have enjoyed the program for nearly 3 years. Teacher Corey knows how to instill fun, rhythm and humor into all his classes. He is very professional and dedicated in ensuring that the kids and their care takers have a positive experience with music, activating the joy that comes with participating and listening to music. I am sure my son will enjoy music for the rest of his life. I am so grateful for this gift, knowing that he can take it with him wherever he goes." - Pey-Ning Huang, Google Review
